ADMINISTRATIVE SOFTWARE PACKAGES
Logibec proposes the
ESPRESSO software package
as a powerful and integrated solution designed to meet the administrative needs of healthcare institutions. It includes the following modules:

  • Financial, budget and materials management

  • Human resources and payroll management

  • Time management including workforce scheduling and replacement lists

Along with eESPRESSO that provides mass deployment functions and additional decentralization tools, this software package family has become the uncontested leader in Quebec. This can be explained, among other things, by its feature richness, user-friendliness and rates adapted to the current economic context.

Our data warehouse solution further completes this product family by providing managers with business intelligence tools and dashboards.

PATIENT AND CLINICAL MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE PACKAGES
Logibec offers a wide range of
patient and clinical management software packages.

CLINIBASE, SICHELD PLUS and CLINIBASE CI includes several modules that are specifically designed for acute care, long-term care and multipurpose facilities. These software packages are available in French and English and are currently used by entire regions and major hospital centres throughout Quebec, Manitoba and Alberta.

eCLINIBASE, a newly introduced product, meets the needs for a regional patient index and regional appointment scheduling system.

In collaboration with the Société de gestion informatique SOGIQUE inc., Logibec has also developed the I-CLSC software package used by all local community health centres (CLSCs) throughout Quebec. Logibec is in charge of updating and supporting this information system which integrates several modules specifically designed for this type of facility.

Logibec recently introduced its new product MED-ECHO PLUS, designed to support the classification systems ICD-9 and ICD-10. Using a coding tool, data warehouse, a link to the Grouper software package and real-time admission interface, MED-ECHO PLUS is a user-friendly, flexible application for entering and managing detailed data on patient stays in emergency departments, clinics or hospitals.

CLINICAL SOFTWARE PACKAGES
The clinical record CARETOOLS is an innovative solution offered by Logibec for care providers who need to access clinical information. This software package is an effective solution used by care providers to share clinical information in the framework of an integrated service network. It includes the following modules:

  • Consent management

  • Electronic record management (ERM) including document scanning

  • Clinical data dictionary, knowledge bank, forms and business rules editor

  • HL7 interface engine and data development module

The SIURGE software package has become the industry standard for managing emergency rooms throughout Quebec. It supports the operations of the busiest emergency departments.

  • The Eval-U module is used for triage functions.

  • The SIAD-U is an analysis system for monitoring the performance of the emergency department and uses our data warehouse solution to provide real-time management indicators.

SIURGE can also be used to group information on emergencies together by region.

The PHARMACY software package is a simple and effective means of managing operational, clinical, control and workload assessment activities. It integrates with a drug monitoring module to assist pharmacists in their work processes. This software has been designed to meet the needs of acute care and long-term care facilities.

MANAGEMENT SUPPORT TOOLS
Logibec has developed its data warehouse as a solution for the ever-increasing needs of managers to access data generated by operational systems and to extract management indicators as scorecards.

This concept offers the following levels of tools and interventions:

  • Operational level for systematically analyzing the results of a subject area

  • Tactical level for combining data originating from several subject areas

  • Strategic level offering a scorecard for managers
