CLINIBASE CI INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING MODULES:

Index-Admission

This software package groups together the main features for identifying, registering and admitting patients.

  • Patient Index
    As the central point for patient identification, this module allows you to assign a unique record number to each patient. It offers sophisticated search methods and groups together all the sociodemographic data about the patient.
     
  • Waiting List Management
    This module allows you to manage waiting lists for admissions (by physician, service or program). It facilitates the tasks of reception personnel and allows the entry of required tests for preadmissions, planned interventions and patient calls.
     
  • Admission/Registration
    This module groups together all the patient stays (preadmissions, admissions, clinical registrations and emergency registrations). From the same window, you can perform multiple admission/registration tasks (temporary leave
    s, physician and service transfers, care program identification, required accommodations, birth records).
     
  • Patient Movement Management
    This module is used to record all the patient movements (transfers, bed swaps, expected discharges and actual discharges). You can also view expected discharges for a specific day and plan upcoming activities.
     
  • Bed Management
    This module allows you to view bed occupancy and the bed management table.  It provides you with a quick view of available beds, beds to be made available, beds reserved for future admissions and occupied beds. Most changes in the information associated with a bed can be made in the search window.

     
  • Physician and Care Provider Management
    This module is used by all the Clinibase software packages (Index-Admission, Med-Echo Plus, Resource Scheduling, Workload Management and Chart Tracking). It allows you to view the contact information and availabilities of a physician or care provider (days on call, holidays, vacation, permits, nominations, access rights).
     
  • Patient Locator
    This module allows you to quickly pinpoint a patient location (in the emergency room or a care unit
    ). First designed for the telecommunications department, this module is now available to all departments of a healthcare institution. Patient confidentiality is ensured if requested by the patient.

Resource Scheduling

This software package allows you to manage schedules, book appointments, view the occupancy rate for a resource (clinician, physician, care provider, local, tests) or a group of resources (pool) and print documents associated with appointments. Integrated with the Index-Admission software package, you can generate a clinical registration and print the patient's card and admission form.

  • Schedule Templates
    This new cornerstone of the Resource Scheduling software package allows you to create daily and weekly schedule templates for quicker and more efficient schedule management.
     
  • Schedules
    This module allows you to create schedules for both clinical and diagnostic services. Resources and specifications can be associated with the schedules. Well
    -identified time slots allow you to manage overbooking.
     
  • Appointments
    This module is a powerful availability search tool. It integrates the reference tables where the responsibility centres, functional centres, sectors, resources, test, schedule priorities, allowed case types, specifications, opening and closing hours of the clinic, etc.
    are defined. It also allows you to book single, multiple or group appointments, assign care plans and manage waiting lists. Updating the attendance generates statistical reports on appointments.
     
  • Occupancy Rates
    This module is a calendar that allows you to query and view the daily schedules of a resource or group of resources. This calendar presents the occupancy percentages calculated based on booked appointments and remaining available time slots.
     
  • Batch Printing
    This module prints one or more documents for a batch of appointments selected based on specific criteria. It is used for confirming and recording appointments, printing protocols and any other specifications.

Record Management

This software package was designed for recording loans and locating patient records. Integrated with the Index-Admission, Resource Scheduling and SIURGE software packages, it ensures total control of patient records at all times.

  • Record Loans
    This module allows you to record requisitions, loans and returns of one or a batch of documents with or without bar codes. You can enter a priority for the return of
    a document to archives (next appointment, etc.). A history of all loans is kept and an archive location can be assigned to a record.
     
  • Record Analyses
    This module analyzes incomplete hospital, emergency, external clinic and other records. It allows you to indicate the
    care providers and missing information or actions to be taken for each analysis.
     
  • Notices (missing or incomplete documents)
    This module provides an overall view of the number of incomplete records by care provider along with the reasons why they are incomplete. It then allows you to generate notices and letters to be sent using Microsoft Word.
