Information

Clinibase is an information system including several medical administration and clinical modules designed to meet the needs of acute care hospital centres and multipurpose facilities. It uses a powerful multidisciplinary index that integrates perfectly with the SICHELD Plus software package.

Clinibase features the following:

Patient Index

The Identification module is used to manage personal and sociodemographic data of patients having access to care and services in your institution. It takes into account the operating requirements of general hospitals and multipurpose facilities.

  • Centralized or decentralized record management by discipline, site or type (temporary, permanent, etc.).
  • Duplicate record detection and record merge functions.
  • Single patient record and alternate record numbers for reference purposes.

Admission - Registration

The Admission - Registration module manages the movements and records of patients who are using or would like to use the care and services provided by your institution.

  • Referrals
  • Waiting list
  • Preadmission, admission, transfer and discharge
  • Med-Echo statistical data

Chart Tracking

The Chart Tracking module allows you to quickly and effectively track and manage each movement of the patient’s medical record and its various components resulting from the services provided by your care team. Reminders and batch processes greatly reduce archiving tasks while ensuring that patient information is readily available.

Emergency

The Emergency module is used to manage the patient index. Its graphical interface allows you to see at a glance the available timeslots in the emergency department and to know at any time the current patient census and activities. This module tracks patients from arrival through to triage, waiting and observation, and on to discharge or transfer.

Resource Scheduling

The Resource Scheduling module automates and simplifies the scheduling of resources in general hospitals and multipurpose facilities.

Workload

The Workload Management module allows you to compile care hours for the professional activities provided by your institution and to generate various statistical reports.

Long-Term Care Management

The Long-Term Care Management module integrates with SICHELD Plus to include the following functions:

  • Assessments
  • Accidents
  • Complaints
  • Clinical profiles adapted to the Virginia Henderson and McGill conceptual models
  • Care plans
  • Care and service management

Radiology

The Radiology module allows you to manage radiological examinations and results. You can also print labels for x-ray films and envelopes. This module facilitates the billing process to the RAMQ (Régie de l’assurance-maladie du Québec) by printing the services to be billed per provider on the appropriate form. An exam register and periodic reports are also available.

Pharmacy

The Pharmacy module provides a simple and effective means of managing medication orders and quickly accessing the patient’s medication profile. It offers several distribution modes and interfaces with automated medication dispensing systems. Allergies and drug interactions complete the global analysis of the medication profile.

HL7 Interface Engine

Through interfaces using the HL7 protocol, Logibec’s medical administration and clinical software packages can exchange healthcare information with information systems developed by other suppliers

Knowledge Bank

  • Manage patient-specific information such as diagnoses, interventions, assessment questionnaires, care plans, etc.

  • Update provincial tables provided by the MSSS (Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux).

Administrator

  • Ensure system security by managing user access profiles and passwords.
  • Manage the institution’s physical data.
  • Define software operating parameters such as record numbering, default values, etc.
